Hey Guys,
Like the title says... I had a dream last night that I was watching Curse of Chucky.
Now this post is going to be a little lengthy so I do apologize in advance. But I have to share this only because it was very vivid, and the story was like nothing we have seen or thought of before.
Now before I get started, I only got to see what would be the beginning of the movie in my dream but it does set up the whole movie and what is crazier is that it starts out in a very surprising way.
So here we go:
Opening- We are taken to a semi maximum security prison. As the credits roll and the camera pans the across all the cell we see Sara walking down a line of cells. She stops and talks to a shadowy figure. She says "it's been a long time" the shadow figure then steps into the light and it is CHARLES LEE RAY!!!! as a human, as a man, at Brad's current age... WTF!?!?... He then says "what do you want" to Sara. She then goes on about how he has obligations to a girl "out there" and that if there is any shred of humanity in him that it is time to be of help like he promised prior to his 1988 death. We are then treated of a flashback scene in which, somehow, he managed to not only survive the end of CP3, but he completed the soul transfer on Tyler. It was then explained that shortly after he found someone that looked a lot closer to the way he looked, so he swapped bodies with that guy. Either was, he'll eventually become CLR again and it the age he is supposed to be but it was just easier to find an adult body.
This I found a little far fetched, but seems plausable I guess. I also think this is where the reboot process happens in which we are either supposed to forget what happened at the end of CP3 and act like Chucky succeeded. There was more after CP3 that we didn't see before. Or that it was infact Tyler that fell into that fan, and not Chucky, like the spell had a delayed reaction.
So anyway, he was arrested for all the crimes he committed, but instead of being sentenced to death he was sentenced to life at a Federal Prison where he could teach soldiers and spys the voodoo practices on how to escape death and swap bodies since there was undeniable proof that he was dead, yet here he is... alive and well with the DNA to prove it's him.
So Sara now being in with people in high places manages to pay him a visit. She said she'll help him escape as long as he helps her. He agrees, so then she stabs him. He starts bleeding really bad, and asks "why" she then says to him "you need to escape and that is what I am going to help you do" she then throws a Good Guy doll in front of him and says "now, escape" so he has no choice but to do a soul transfer. He does, and she makes up this bogus story to the guards how he tried to kill her so she stabed him with his own shank in self defense.
So now she is driving with the doll. She is talking to it, but it isn't responding back. She keeps saying "Chucky" then she says "Charles Lee Ray, are you in there" He then blinks his eyes and says "Thanks *censored*, that's exactly what I needed to hear. Your body belongs to me now" Since she is the first person to know his secret and that he is alive she is the only one who can get him out of the doll. So after he attacks her and she crashes her vehicle, and then we are brought to a subway. Thinking she is dead either way, she then reminds him that he has a promise to fulfill and that she doesn't care what happens to anyone else "just don't hurt Nica" then she jumps in front of an oncoming train to spite Chucky but also out of both guilt and satisfaction as to what is going to be coming for Barb and her family. We are then taken to a scene in which the cops are taking pics of the scene of the "Accident" and taking the doll as evidence since it had minor blood stains on it and was seen with the victim when she was walking out of a prison with it.
At this point I had woken up but it isn't too hard to piece the rest together from here based on what we know.
Now I am not saying that I want the movie to go down this way, nor do I think that it should. But parts of it have some serious potential. I have never even thought of a scenerio in which Chucky had a chance to be human again, only to end up in a doll... again! I don't what brought this on because my mind was working without my acknowledgement but tell me what you guys think.
