I have been a member here for a few weeks now, so I may as well officially introduce myself.
My name is Jerry but on most forum sites I am known as Dragon Prime. In which, my screen name is comprised of 2 of my most favorite things... Super Sentai (Power Rangers for us Americans) and obviously Transformers. Of course I am a huge Chucky fan, and he is pretty high up on the list of my favorite things in this mortal life. I saw the first Child's Play when I was 6 back in 1988, and have been in love ever since.
As far as my personal life goes, I am the biggest kid you'll meet. Even at the age of 30 I still get giddy walking into Toys "R" Us like an 8 year old. Even to the point of embarrassing my own children.
Collecting figures is a big passion of mine. I collect all kinds of figures, but WWE is by far my most favorite to collect. I also like customizing figures. Infact the Chucky figure in my sig is a custom I made. He is in scale with 3 3/4" figures so he goes great with G.I. Joe and Star Wars figures.
I have moved on from customizing to now prop making and cosplay. I can honestly say that I am not ready to be on a show like face off, but my stuff looks better than the average joe's. Here is my Jason costume from this past Halloween.
I try to be as movie accurate as possible while maintaining a budget.
I also have 2 other passions. Wrestling and Music. I gave up on wanting to be a musician because find 3 or 4 other people to cooperate as a band is a nightmare, and in today's world I am truly uninspired by today's music. So I just record music for my own enjoyment. I wish I could pick up my guitar more often so I am working on a schedual that'll allow me to do so.
Like I mentioned before, I love WWE figures so I love WWE and wrestling in general. I am a Store Manager and I love my job but I still decided to go into training on becoming a Professional Wrestler. You only live once, right? I am a little old to be starting a career in Wrestling, but I am not letting that stop me anytime soon. Besides, it was only a matter of time before being a fan wasn't enough for me anymore. My dream is to someday be a WWE Superstar and I am blessed to have my family's support. My best friend just started traning as well, and he didn't even tell his family the whole truth about his training. Still I am glad to have him there for and to support, plus now I am no longer the oldest student ;D
Enough about me. We are here for Chucky. As a memeber I hope to be as active as possible. I am glad to have the opportunuty to be able to join a forum site such as this while it still being a relatively new site. I hope to someday be one of the "go to" members in the future. I feel as though I have already made friends, and I really enjoy being here. For a site based on an evil little shit of a doll, the people are very friendly and curtious, so thanks for having me here.
Last, I will apologize in advance for leaving such lengthy posts. I guess I just have a lot to say... especially about Chucky. 25 years of thoughts about our hero can now finally be released so I guess I have a lot to share and I thank you for your attention when reading my posts.
Cheers.
