I don't know how many of you here are into action figures but at Toy Fare 2014 Funko showed some prototypes of their ReAction Figures line. These are figures that highly resemble the articulation and style of retro Star Wars figures. This line started with figures from the film "Alien" that were supposed to be released in 1979 along with the films debut. These figures were just like the Star Wars figures because they were made by the same company at the time. These "Alien" figures never saw the light of day until Funko decided to take on the task of giving us what we should have got 35 years ago.
Well in addtion to "Alien" they are going to be making some really cool figures from many of our favorite films. Check it out...
ReAction figures
Keep in mind that some of these are License Approval Pending
Even down to packaging they'll have that nice retro feel so if you happen to have an old school Star Wars collection either in or out of package... these will blend in just fine.
I do have one major gripe... They are looking to make some of our favorite Slashers including: Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, Pin Head, Ghostface, and Sam from Trick 'r Treat.
WHERE THE HELL IS CHUCKY? I mean seriously, they're going to make Sam from Trick 'r Treat but not even consider Chucky... or Leatherface for that matter. I am sure that in time they'll get to making other desired characters but I jus wonder where the wisdom comes from the make a second teir icon before making a headliner icon. Either way these are some neat toys, and I really hope they get the license approval to make all these cool figures. I would have loved these as a kid.
