Hello friends.
As many of you may know, one of my favorite activities is collecting action figures. Also, I am a big wrestling fan and a fan of WWE. So I decided to kill 2 birds with 1 stone by making my very own WWE arena for my action figures.
It has always been a dream of mine to have my very own arena for my wrestling figures and figures in general. So I proudly present the heart of my Man Cave.
Here is the main display... mind you this is just 4th of my collection.
Believe it or not I was standing on a step ladder to take this photo because I couldn't back up any further. The display measures 80" in length, and 48" in width. IT"S BIG...
Now lets take a closer look at the audience.
This section is filled with various figures from movies and videogames. Anyone notice who is sitting in the front row?
This next section is comprised of all my Marvel and DC movie figures... I actually have more that I couldn't fit.
DC
Marvel
More Marvel... I am Marvel guy.
Commentary team
Figures I simply didn't have room to fit else where... yo Rocko!!!
More toys... this is tiring
Here is a shot of the ring which I am very proud to own. Not many of these made it to regular retail and Mattel is no longer producing them. Shame cause their normal rings are a jokingly small. This one is 22"x22" and it has metal turnbuckles, soft rubber turnbuckle pads, cloth ring mat, fabric ring skirt, and 2 part stairs. If shit ever hit the fan I can sell this thing for $500 easy. It truly is the Holy Grail of Wrestling rings... for figures of course.
BTW, I also have a classic blue ring with the red, white, and blue ropes. Takes a 1/2 hour to put together and I was just too lazy. It's slightly different as it wasn't made by Mattel like this ring, but it's still an impressive 20.5"x20.5" ring.
Then there is the Entrance Stage. It is a Mattel stage but I gave it height, a taller/wider ramp, and I made the side lighting from scratch. This was all to make it larger because the ring was dwarfing it without these upgrades. I would eventually like to get an Ipad and put it in place of the Titan Tron. For now I am satisfied with it's look. Making his way to the ring... my man CM Punk.
Since "Hell in the Cell" pay per view is at the end of the month I figured I'd showcase that here. YES IT"S HUGE!!! My cats like to hang out in it.
This is still a WIP. Eventually I would like to add a painting of a background audience to give it that full arena effect and a lighting rig to go above the ring. In the meantime I'll be adding more pics here and there showcasing my many WWE figures. Thank you Mattel for making my dreams come true.
