I used to watch a television show way back in the mid to late 90's called "Monster Vision". It was a horror movie segment that came on television at night and aired 2 horror movies back 2 back. I loved horror movies so of course this was one of my favorite shows. It was hosted by a man named Joe Bob Briggs and he was a very funny guy imo. During the movies when there were commercial breaks Joe would give very interesting facts on the movie that was being played. One night happened to be one movie in particular you guessed right "Child's Play" I had seen this movie tons of times before and actually knew it would be on Monster Vision since i had saw it on TV Guide. Of course i watched it and i am very happy i did . Joe had something very crazy to say about a deleted scene that was taken out of the movie due to the scene being too long and too Gorey. Supposedly from what i can remember is that the scene was cast right after chucky was on his way to get andy, right after the famous "*censored*kk youuuuu" elevator scene. When chucky walks out of the elevator and is on his way to the barclays apartment door, he catches a glance at another apartment door that's slightly open a bit; he creeps by the door and peeks inside to see a man sitting in a couch just drinking beer and watching televison. Chucky makes his way inside sneaks up behind the guy knifes him jumps on his back while the man is down and begins to strangle him as he's pretending to ride him like a cowboy . Supposedly this scene was intended to allow the audience to witness Charles lee ray's strangler mentality, hence the name "The lakeshore strangler" Yep. That deleted scene blew me away and til this day i still can't forget that episode of Monster Vision. Thought i would share this with you guys .
