Hello Chucky fans!
I had many questions on the new Curse of Chucky Good Guy, like; (SPOILERS)
Why the new look? Why does he have almost the same look as in Seed? and Why does nobody in the Court Room wonder why this doll had scares? I started wondering on possible reasons, and came up with some theories:)
(I summarized my theories close to the bottom incase you don't wanna read all of it)
(In the Chucky universe)
In the movie, they recreated the Stitched Chucky look, basing it off the doll and events from Bride. What if in "Chucky goes Psycho" the film featured the process of how he started as a Good Guy? In Seed, he had a slight different look than in Bride, so maybe the Good guy from that Film was changed too!
Maybe the Good Guy we see in Curse is from the film "Chucky goes Psycho"!
So why does Chucky have Stitches, but they're not all are there???
Like many have said before, his Scars probably grew into his new body. and I'd believe that:)
Now I'm assuming Tiffany helped him conceal the scares with prosthetics, then ships him to unsuspecting victims. But why hide them all this time, making himself look like a Good Guy, then assume nobody will question the scars while in the Court Room???
What if after Seed, Chucky transferred his soul into a new store bought doll that had the stitches? then he wouldn't have to worry about people seeing him with his scars.
(After all, in "Chucky goes Psycho", he has stitches)
Then that can can also explain why we see scares, but the body is plush when Nica stabs him.
But why hide the scares for the unsuspecting Nica, but arrive revealing scars to Andy's house?! Maybe it's a Plot Hole, but I have 2 theories on why he didn't hide his scars from Andy.
1. Andy has seen or heard of the film "Chucky goes Psycho", and Chucky assumes that Andy will think the doll is just a prop or toy from the film. BUT, why does Chucky rips out of the Box and ignores his "Play Doll" technique?
2. Chucky just wants to kill Andy as quick as possible.
So pretty much, in Seed of Chucky, a film was being made named "Chucky goes Psycho', and this could have led to Chucky toys being made which explains why we see new Good Guys, and possibly why Chucky is in a new body. He could have transferred his soul into a doll with stitches, or into a clean Good Guy, then the scars grew in.
This is possibly why nobody in the court room questioned the doll's scars, and why he was plush instead of having organs.
Am I overthinking this whole New Good Guy thing? Is it just the directors's choice? Is it just a Plot Hole? Haha! I'm a Chucky fan, so this is just a theory I came up with that might explain some of my questions. Also, i hope that in the 7th Chucky film (announced by Don Mancini) explains all/most of this:)
Thank you for taking the time to read my theories! I'm sorry if i didn't make myself clear. And happy to answer any questions you night have.
Here's a cool picture of Chucky, I wonder how he's gonna look in Chucky 7!!!

We all know that in Seed, they were filming "Chucky goes Psycho" shown in the picture below.
