Ok, so in the beginning, Play Pals is bringing back the Good Guy doll, despite extremely bad press after the events of the first two films. It's been eight years since Child's Play 2 and to them, Andy Barclay and his claims are now in the past, forgotten about. We see all this in a board meeting, obviously, where at the end the CEO Mr Sullivan, is presented with the very first doll off the production line (Chucky basically).
We all know what happens that night to Sullivan, but my question is this. Chucky can't pack himself up, and mail himself to Andy after he finds where he is. That would be impossible, more or less. I've always assumed that Chucky must have written a note, claiming to be from Sullivan to his underling/cleaner/whoever (most likely to the guy that was with Sullivan in his penthouse shortly before he was attacked by Chucky) telling them that the Good Guy doll must be posted immediately to Andy Barclay at Kent Military School.
So far it seems plausible.
My concern is that when the body was found, police were called, murder was obviously the only outcome, did nobody seem to think
"Hey, he wants this doll sending to the kid that more or less crippled his company by claiming it was inhabited by the soul of the lakeshore strangler"
Sure nobody would believe the doll has done it. But wouldn't it be considered strange that the very first night he took that doll home, he winds up dead? Especially given the track record of the Good Guy
(Also, just as a side question. When they're in the meeting talking, there's a picture of Charles Lee Ray. Doing nothing special, just stood looking chilled out. Where the hell did they get that from?)
Any opinions are greatly appreciated guys. This has just always bothered me ya know?
